Dipendra P. Pradhananga
Dipendra Prasad Pradhananga is the Founder of Center for Migration and International Relations and serves as the Chairperson of this organization. In the course of presenting a coursework on Human Rights while pursuing his graduate diploma study in International Relations, he was touched very badly by the worsening situation (labour exploitation, sexual abuses, inhuman behaviors, increase in committing suicides etc.) of Nepalese migrant workers. As a result, he came up with his philanthropic step to establish this organization as a not-for-profit to contribute on reducing the current raising problems with protecting the rights of migrant workers.
He states: “IN THE STRONG PRESENCE OF VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL INSTRUMENTS WITH CONTINUING WELL EQUIPPED HUMAN RIGHTS PROJECT AROUND THE WORLD STILL RESULTS EVERYDAY MIGRANT WORKERS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES LIKE NEPAL TO COMMITT SUCIDE IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD JUST FOR DOING THEIR JOB.THIS IS THE GREATEST TRAGEDY OF HUMAN RIGHTS”
