“Stories of Migrants” is one of the initiatives of CMIR in which we aim to shed light on the actual conditions of Nepali migrant workers in a distant land through stories. The objective of this project is to give a voice to migrant workers and their families who are experiencing the obstacles of foreign employment. This initiative is committed to portraying all aspects of labour migration, the positive and the negative, in order to give prospective migrant workers and the rest of the public a more informed perspective of the realities of foreign employment.

This project also aims to bring awareness to the pressing issues of labor migration as well as encourage a dialogue between migrant workers and those in a position to enact policy change.
